Policy

Borough Farm is situated near the village of Meadwell, Lifton, our full address being Borough Farm, Kelly, Lifton, PL16 0HJ, the approach roads are a mixture of single and double track tarmac roads. Borough farm is accessed through a double iron gate, proceeding along a short tarmac and stone drive to flat private car parking areas for each of the holiday lets. Little Links car park is to the right of the main drive on a slate chipping pull in. There is a short 15meter flat walk along a slate chipping pathway from the carpark to the door of the yurt, the yurt is single storey but the access into the yurt is narrow, being less than 3 foot wide. The fire pit, log fired hot tub and compost loo are all within 20 meters of the front door of the yurt. The shower room facilities are around 15 meters from little links yurt accessed along a slate chipping path and up two granite steps and through a wide oak framed, glazed door, the shower room is open plan for the wet room style shower area. There is a cubicled flushing toilet on the same elevation level.

Great Links Car Park is to the left of the farm yard on concrete hard standing, there is a level walk of concrete and subsequently grass, leading from the farm yard to Great Links which is approximately 80 meters from the car parking space. The yurt is single storey and accessed through a wooden doorway of no more than 3 feet in width. Along the path to Great Links you will pass both the flushing toilet and outdoor shower facility and the log fired hot tub. The distance from the toilet to the yurt is approximately 35 meters. Outside the yurt is a fire pit area where guests can cook and snuggle up to star gaze at night.The Granary B and B car parking space is to the left of the lane leading into the barn courtyard on hard standing. The Granary is on the first floor of a large converted stone barn and accessed from a flight of 10 slate stone steps with a handrail. Access into the Granary is through a glazed stable door of width 3 foot the living accommodation is all on the first floor level with an interior door of 2 foot 4 inches width leads from the granary into the loft which is a 30 foot long 5 meter wide space all on one level, Guests are served breakfast and evening meals in this area.There is a further option of an eating area in the granary garden which is accessed up two stone steps into an elevated position in the apple orchard overlooking the farmyard.
