If you're looking for something warm, natural and luxurious to add to your home this winter, you have come to the right place. Raised here in Devon and tanned locally, our Borough Farm sheepskins are sustainable, super-soft, and each one is unique. Both breeds are extra large, making for enormous sheepskins that have been slow grown on our gorgeous rare-breed farm.

DEVON AND CORNWALL LONGWOOL SHEEPSKINS - £225

Big, curly, shaggy and full of proper West Country charm. The Devon and Cornwall longwool sheep are amongst the rarest you will find, their skins are beautifully textured, making them a designers dream, plus seriously durable - perfect for busy homes with pets and kids. They can even go in the washing machine (but not too regularly!).

ZWARTBLES SHEEPSKINS - £165

Deep, rich, dark fleece with loads of character. Zwartbles are a really striking breed and their sheepskins add a modern yet cosy touch to any room. Amazing draped over a chair or beside the bed.

WHY PEOPLE LOVE THEM

* They're completely natural (no harsh chemicals or dyes).

* Every sheepskin is different and has its own charm.

* Warm, soft and hard - wearing.

* Ethically sourced and a great way to support rare breeds.

If you’ve walked through the farm on a crisp autumn morning, you’ll have passed the orchard — a beautiful, slightly wild patch of apple trees that sits at the heart of Borough Farm. Every year, those trees produce a generous harvest, and for some time now, we’ve been turning that harvest into something rather special: our own Borough Farm apple juice.
There’s a moment in early spring when you can feel the farm shift. It’s not sudden — it arrives quietly, in the softening of the ground underfoot, the longer light at the end of the day, and the first tentative birdsong at dawn. After months of frost-hardened earth and still, grey mornings, Borough Farm is stretching back to life.
Whether you’re looking for the salty breeze of the North Devon and Cornwall cliffs or the rugged tors and open wilderness of Dartmoor, Borough Farm is perfectly positioned to give you the best of both worlds. Here are six of our absolute favourite local hikes to help you explore the wilder side of our doorstep.
